The support services include nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and social work services.

M.O.V.E.

The Jardine Academy implements the international curriculum Mobility Opportunities Via Education (M.O.V.E). This research-based program was designed by Special Educator Linda Bidabe to apply motor science to improve functional mobility skills of persons with severe physical disabilities. The program objective is to enable participants to sit, stand and walk, allowing for fuller participation with family activities and inclusion in the community.

In May 2007, the Jardine Academy was dedicated as New Jersey’s first M.O.V.E. Model Site in recognition of the school’s commitment to both the program and its students. The academy now serves as a showcase for the M.O.V.E. program for educators, therapists and parents statewide.
