PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
The Jardine Academy maintains full accreditation with by the Commission on Elementary Schools and the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association. Jardine’s faculty and staff are committed to the ideal of excellence of these two accrediting bodies.
In addition, our Jardine Academy is dedicated as a Model Site of MOVE® (Mobility Opportunities Via Education), the internationally renowned educational program for people with developmental disabilities. We were the first school in New Jersey serving students with developmental disabilities to employ the MOVE discipline and remain the only MOVE m
Model Site in the state.
MOVE is a research-based program designed to apply education, psychology, biomechanics and motor science to improve functional mobility skills of persons with severe physical disabilities. The program objective is to enable participants to sit, stand and walk, thereby allowing for fuller participation with family activities and inclusion in the wider community.

CPL Adult Service Team has developed a Computer and Technology Lab for participants to learn new technologies. Computer stations equipped with various adaptive devices and specialized software programs are available for assessment, training and recreational enjoyment.
CALENDAR OF EVENTS
- A reception dinner to welcome the Middle States evaluation team was held on November 27, 2007 at the Costas Restaurant in Roselle Park, NJ. CPL Board of Directors, Executive Team, faculty and members of the Accreditation Steering Committee had an opportunity to share information and ideas with the Team.
